Mark Wilson, founder of "Initiatives" and lecturer at Simon School of Business, University of Rochester, New York, USA, successfully concluded a series of workshops dedicated to entrepreneurship and innovation at UBB Student i-Lab. These workshops, focused on the practical method "The Idea Thickening Method," provided students with the opportunity to learn directly from an expert and represented a pivotal moment in their preparation for entrepreneurial challenges ahead.
During a span of 4 days, participants were given the opportunity to actively engage in the process of developing business concepts, starting with personalizing and calibrating their own idea filters, continuing with presenting and thoroughly analyzing these concepts in an interactive pitching session, and culminating with the application of "The Idea Thickening Method" to identify the most effective solutions for marketing inventions, allowing them to test their creativity and pragmatism in a simulated environment focused on solving specific problems.
Participants enthusiastically embraced all proposed activities, demonstrating a heightened interest in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation. "It was a valuable opportunity to learn from a professor who successfully blends academic theory with practical experience in the business world. This experience has inspired me to approach future challenges with a different perspective," said Sonya Dudaș, an active and valuable member of the UBB Student i-Lab community.
The workshops concluded with the recognition of the merits of participating students. Additionally, Professor Wilson awarded several special diplomas for remarkable involvement and valuable contributions of some students.
We express our gratitude to everyone involved in this wonderful event and look forward to continuing this journey of entrepreneurial success together.
The UBB Student i-Lab community continues to thrive through the active contribution of each member, providing a dynamic and inspirational environment for idea development and exchange of experiences.
