Workshops Delivered by Dr. Amnon Dekel for Students of the i-Lab Community (May 19–23, 2025)

Dr. Amnon Dekel, Executive Director of ASPER-HUJI Innovate – the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem – delivered a workshop between May 19–22, 2025, focused on transforming ideas into functional prototypes using NoCode technologies and AI tools.
With an impressive career spanning over 20 years in IT product development and more than 15 years of applied research in User Experience and Mobile Computing, Dr. Dekel offered participants valuable insights into the innovation process and market validation methods. Previously, he served as Chair of the Software Engineering Department at Shenkar College of Engineering and Design and contributed to the launch of three tech startups. He has received numerous international awards, including a Pulitzer Prize nomination for his work with The New York Times.

May 19, 2025 – Prototyping: Participants learned how to turn their ideas into functional prototypes using NoCode platforms and AI tools. They presented their concepts and development plans and received tailored feedback to enhance their solutions.
May 21, 2025 – Validation: Teams tested their prototypes with potential users and received valuable feedback to refine their solutions, learning how to adapt their products based on market needs.
May 22, 2025 – Final presentation and innovation protection: Each team showcased its prototype, outlining the development process and intellectual property protection strategies, along with methods used for collecting and integrating feedback.
