On December 6, 2024, we had the pleasure of hosting Daniel Druhora, filmmaker, screenwriter, and innovation leader, known for his Emmy Award-winning documentary "Lives Not Grades," at UBB Student i-Lab. Daniel is also the Director of the Grand Challenges Innovation Lab at the University of Southern California, and his extensive experience in storytelling and innovation was a key focus of the workshop.
Although the workshop was held online, the participants were actively engaged and had the opportunity to explore captivating topics. Among the subjects discussed were "Starting From Story" and "Story and Share of Mind," where attendees learned how to use storytelling to support innovative ideas and capture the audience's attention.
Daniel shared valuable insights with the participants on the importance of storytelling in promoting innovation, emphasizing how narrating an idea can become a powerful tool for turning concepts into reality. Participants learned how to craft stories that not only capture attention but also leave a lasting impact.
