UBB Student i-Lab Team Selected for the Final of “VSFA – Youth in the Arena”

Thursday, April 24, 2025, during a pre-selection session, six teams who had completed the incubation program at UBB Student i-Lab (see details about the incubation program) were present. Following the judging process, the selected business concept was VResidence, developed by the team composed of Andrada Petcu and Nicolae Baciu, beneficiaries of both the incubation program and the internationalization program run within UBB Student i-Lab.

The grand final will take place on May 8, 2025, in Bucharest, during the VSFA – Youth in the Arena competition.

"Youth in the Arena" (TiA) is a national project that supports young people in Romania who are passionate about entrepreneurship. It offers them the opportunity to turn ideas into viable businesses through mentorship, funding, and key connections in the Romanian business environment.

The competition format is simple yet challenging: each year, only five teams reach the final, where they present their projects in front of a jury composed of top entrepreneurs, at the Romanian Business Leaders (RBL) Summit. The selection and preparation process lasts six months.
