How did the program help me with my daily work?

The program helped me sharpen my understanding and skills in innovation projects and effectively support our clients’ in managing such projects.
As a marketing and communication consultant, I often deal with diverse clients and creative challenges, and the frameworks I learned have become integral to how I structure problem-solving and collaboration with clients. The practical approach of the program provided tools that I could immediately implement (e.g. Simple Rules approach), allowing me to make more informed decisions, and inspiring innovative solutions that align with client needs.

What was the coolest thing I learned in the program?

The coolest thing I learned was how to foster a culture of innovation within organizations of any size. It wasn’t just about new ideas; it was about building the right environment and mindset for sustainable innovation. And to get this insightful knowledge from professors and most importantly, practitioners in big companies like Apple, IBM, Disney, brands known fro their innovative culture and products. The blend of theory and real-world case studies made this concept come to life in ways I hadn’t seen before.

What would I say to my best friend to convince them to go?

I’d tell them, “If you’re serious about leading innovation and making an impact, this is the program for you. It doesn’t just teach you theory; it gives you the tools to actually lead change. Plus, the insights and experience from UNC professors, combined with networking and sharing experience with professionals like you, make it a unique learning experience you won’t find anywhere else.
