Who can join the CGMA Finance Leadership Program (FLP)?

If you’re a UBBFSEGA student looking to jumpstart a global career in finance and management accounting, the CGMA Finance Leadership Program (FLP) offers a unique opportunity to earn an internationally recognized qualification while still in university.

Available for students in Romanian, English, and French tracks enrolled in the Accounting and Management Information Systems Program.

Enrollment is open from the 3rd to the 5th semester (until the end of February).

Available for students in English track enrolled in the Accounting Organizations Program.

Enrollment is open from the 1st to the 3rd semester (until the end of February).

Deadline:

Students must enroll at least 4 months before graduation (i.e., by the end of February, before completing studies in early July).

The focus of the Operational level is on the short term and the implementation of decisions. In the Operational Case Study exam your role will be that of entry level finance professional.

Fees and financing methods

The Programme is available in two types of subscription packages/product types: University Skills Core and University Skills Plus. Each subscription to the CGMA Finance Leadership Programme includes:

University Skills Plus includes everything in University Skills Core plus a Case Study Exam Review Course and two exam attempts. With University Skills Core, exam attempts cost £231 each, making University Skills Plus the smarter, more affordable choice.

The CIMA Independent Route requires separate payments for study materials, review courses, and exam attempts, leading to higher costs (for all fees visit – Fees | AICPA&CIMA). University Skills Plus offers a structured, all-in-one package for a lower cost, better support, and higher success rate.

1. How do I know if I am eligible for the AICPA & CIMA program?

2. If I have finished other Bachelor studies, am I eligible for the program?
Yes, if you have enrolled for the Accounting and Organizations master program.

3. What fees do I have to pay for the program?
Please visit the Fees section.

4. Do I have to pay fees other than the subscription to the program?
If you fail an exam on the first attempt, you must pay starting with the second attempt.

5. How many attempts can I take for an exam during a year?
As much as you can, however, if you fail the first attempt of an exam, starting with the second attempt, you have to pay for the exam.

6. Could I take the exams after case studies?
No, you need first to complete the exams.

7. What is the entry-level for exams depending on if I am a Bachelor’s or a Master’s student?

8. When am I obtaining the CIMA student status?
You will attain CIMA student status after paying the subscription fee.

9. What benefits do I obtain from the CIMA qualification?

Registration

Before applying, ensure you meet the CGMA FLP at UBBFSEGA eligibility criteria based on your level of study:

Bachelor’s students (Accounting and Management Information Systems) can apply from the 3rd to the 5th semester.

Master’s students (Accounting and Organizations) can apply from the 1st to the 3rd semester.

Tip: If you are close to completing your studies, make sure you enroll at least 4 months before graduation (by the end of February for a July graduation).
